Greetings to all,
Fall is here, a great time to be a sports fan with baseball, football, and hockey-all at the same time!
The midterm elections will be soon. Although our organization is prohibited from endorsing any candidate or party, just stating that 2 of our members have sons running for office! Joseph Cinquemani for the 16th Assembly District and Senator Bill Weber running for re-election to the NYS Senate. Please be sure to exercise your right to vote for the candidates of your choice!
Our proposed HV 1013 board for 2027/2028 is as follows:

- Mark V. Murphy Vice-President
- Tracey O’Connor Treasurer
- Carl DeNonno Corresponding Secretary
- Fred Martucci Recording Secretary
- Artie Marra 1st Sgt at Arms
- Bill Kearney 2nd Sgt at arms.
Anyone considering running for the above positions and/or Trustees etc., now or If you feel you may want to join our board at a future date please let me know.
As I said last month, our annual dues will be going up to $45 per year on January 1st. Prices for everything has gone up!
Also, a quick reminder. The biannual raffle will be drawn at our December meeting and the response so far has been slow. Please get your raffles in as soon as you can so one of us will have a nice Christmas!!
Finally, our next meeting will be at 7:00 pm on Thursday October 15th at the Bajart American Legion Post # 1122, 840 McLean Avenue, Yonkers, NY, 10704! Our Carpool will be leaving the parking lot between Mavis Tires and Aldis located on Rt 59 in Nanuet at 5:30 PM.
Please come out and join us! Have something to eat, drink, see some old friends & make some new ones!!
