Hello to all our Hudson Valley 10-13 Members!
I hope this letter finds you and your families doing well.
Our next meeting will take place on Thursday November 20th at 7:00 pm at the Kearsing and Edwards American Legion Post 1600 located at 20 Station Road, Pomona, NY. I’m looking forward to seeing many of you there.
We will be having 2 guest speakers at our next meeting. Dave Nicholson, who runs the PBA Health and Welfare Fund, will be our first guest speaker. Knowing who the new NYC Mayor will be for the new year Dave will be able to give us a better understanding of what we will be up against regarding the future of our healthcare.
As many of us get older and look to downsize, we could look for help with Estate planning and maybe sales of antiques. Our second guest speaker is 1st Grade NYPD Det. John Felz. John is an expert in both fields and encourages you to bring your pieces and/or photos to the meeting so he can evaluate them. He has been on the Antique
Roadshow 4 times.
I want to remind you that our Bi-annual Raffle will be drawn at our December meeting so if you haven’t done so yet, get those slips in. The members of the Board and I want to thank our Veterans for their services! And we would also like to wish you, your families, and your
friends a very Happy, Blessed, and a safe Thanksgiving.
